The phone is the best for someone who needs to hold a phone and not a brick, incredibly convenient in the hand and in the pocket, very good screen and decent speakers (stereo) it doesn't lag anywhere with anything I've run on it and generally it has never lagged from the battery for its size, very decent 8 hours of screen on time after 2 years of use (reasonable) generally there are other phones much stronger in terms of processor - battery - camera - screen but as I said before this one is the best if you don't want to carry a brick

I bought the mobile phone about 1 month ago, coming from Samsung s21. My experience so far:

The mobile phone is generally good, although I consider it not to be value for money (Without VAT 500€).

The battery barely lasts a day with normal use, but it is greatly saved by the 67w charger, which charges the phone from 20% to 100% in less than 40 minutes.

The photos are very mediocre for such a phone, it has the classic problem of Xiaomi with excessive brightness, which unfortunately cannot be fixed even with Gcam. I haven't dealt much with video, but overall the lens has not impressed me. This also applies to the front camera. The screen is good, but it cannot be compared to Samsung by any means.

In terms of speed, the phone is lightning fast. It doesn't lag anywhere and rarely shows any lag or freezing, which of course has nothing to do with the processor.

If you want a phone for social media, browsing, gaming, and general everyday use, I think the phone is quite good.

However, if you want it for photos, videos, etc., I do not recommend it. With the same money, you can get a Samsung that surpasses it in camera, screen, and video.

It purely depends on what you want to use the phone for.

Update: The camera is so frustratingly bad that I returned it and got the Samsung s23 ultra. With that amount of money, you expect the camera to be at least above average.

Why should someone get it:
1. The best chassis to use with one hand. Very beautiful and the most comfortable I have held in my hand in recent years. Fits in any pocket without being bothersome.
2. Very fast, no lag.
3. Very beautiful.
4. 67W charger included in the package and charges extremely fast without heating up.
5. Amazing video stabilization and no serious lag.
6. The main camera is very high quality, takes very good HDR photos.
7. Pupg 4k HDR 60fps...
8. The screen is so good that you want to open it every now and then just to look at it.
9. No throttling (sd870 cpu... the best the company has built up to the 8th gen1 for most things)

Why to avoid it:
1. The wide-angle camera is so bad in average lighting that its FHD and 4k are the same... if it doesn't have good lighting, it is so bad that it would be better if they didn't include it and sold it cheaper. Also, the images come out so blurry that I thought there was a problem. But apparently, that's how the camera of this model is. The same camera somehow manages in photos. The wide-angle lens of the Poco F3 is the best I have used.
3. The macro lens, because it doesn't have stabilization, it might be impossible to quickly capture something. If it's on a tripod, it's very good. It also focuses from 3 centimeters to 7. Still, the poco is somewhat better in this camera.
4. It should be able to shoot 10-bit video since the processor supports it.

As for the battery that many say doesn't last... We are definitely talking about people who play with their phones at work every now and then, or have so much free time that in this case, it would be better to get a laptop or a power bank!! Enough with the battery that we want to last for 20 hours straight!!! Personally, I leave home at 08:30 and when I return at 6, it's at 40%, even though I have talked on the phone, viber for half an hour, YouTube for 30 minutes, everything open (5g, BT, 120Hz, brightness), surfing the net for another 30 minutes, and a pubg match. If someone uses it more than that while at work, let me know where they work so I can send my resume!!

If it had a better wide-angle or if it had 10-bit video, I would keep it. But at this price, you can't have it all anymore. So I will look for the 12 that shoots 10-bit, as far as I know.

Apart from the negatives, it is the best someone can get if they don't care much about wide-angle and night shots on all lenses.

P.S.: I am involved in video as a side job, with blackmagic cameras, gimbals, editing, and color grading. So I pay attention to some details that most people may not realize.

It is the first Xiaomi smartphone I have bought (because for some reason I didn't like this company) and I can say that I was pleasantly surprised!! Initially, in terms of construction, it is quite high-quality, sturdy with a fairly high-quality and bright screen and an aluminum chassis!! The negatives for me are perhaps the speakers, as the company claims stereo sound, although it has a loudspeaker-like headphone to be heard from both sides but with a weaker sound that personally bothers me a little!! The second negative I found is that it is narrower than most smartphones on the market, which takes a few days to get used to, and along with the curved screen, it makes it appear smaller! On the positive side - screen quality, construction quality, photos and videos, fast charging (in about 40 minutes), calls!!!!

As the owner of the 12X for two weeks now, I would like to share my experience so far.

Firstly, I should mention that my previous devices were the Mi 8 for two years, followed by the Poco F2 Pro for another two years. I believe this is important because the reader and potential buyer should know the basis of comparison that each of us has when evaluating.

I switched to the Poco F2 Pro without any complaints or issues and chose the 12X for its value for money.

Now let's talk about the device...
▪️The phone has an amazing display, AMAZING. Compared to my brother's iPhone 13 Pro Max, the difference is staggering, as I had it the day before yesterday.
▪️The main camera is very good, and the selfie camera is decent.
▪️The battery is flawless, but I won't go into details because it depends on each person's usage. It charges in half an hour (67W). The charger and cable are included in the package! Other brands don't include them!
▪️The sound is truly impressive. In everyday moments when I used the JBL flip 5 at home, in the bathroom, etc., the 12X took its place. It's not about the volume, but the quality that leaves you amazed.
▪️The device size is 6.28"...it took me years back. The phablets we all hold in our hands, better in the hands because they require two hands... With this, you can do everything with one hand. It fits comfortably in a pocket, etc. The size may seem strange and surprising at first, but you get used to it. And, like me, it will win you over in the end.
If I had to find a flaw, it would be the speaker during calls. Because of such a large screen, the speaker is on top and not in front of the screen. So, you have to adjust it to your ear to hear better and not let others around you hear in a quiet environment.

In terms of performance, the reliable Snapdragon 870 won't disappoint you.

Overall, I believe that at the price range of €450-500, you can blindly buy it. Instead of spending that much on a mid-range device from any brand, you get a true flagship.

P.S. The main camera is good, especially with gcam for night shots, it takes it to another level on this device.

Stay away from this mobile model!! I hope the buyer tomorrow, meaning YOU, reads this and saves their money. It's terrible in every aspect.. I had the Xiaomi 6 and after 5 years, I bought this thing.. and of course, I regret it..

Small size, excellent build quality, very good sound, strong signal, infrared port, AMOLED screen with beautiful colors, and of course what sets it apart from products of other companies is the very good battery life despite the power of the processor. The fingerprint sensor always works unlike Samsung, although personally I would prefer it on the side. The only lack is the absence of a 3.5 mm audio output for headphones, but now there are adapters everywhere for type c or type c headphones. Very fast charging and charger included in the package.

I have it from the first week it came to the Greek market and I bought it for 560 euros!! It is the first Xiaomi smartphone I have bought (because for some reason I didn't like this company) and I can say that I was pleasantly surprised!! Initially, in terms of construction, it is quite high-quality, sturdy with a fairly high-quality and bright screen and an aluminum chassis!! The negatives for me are perhaps the speakers, as the company claims stereo sound, although it has a loudspeaker-like headphone to be heard from both sides but with a weaker sound that personally bothers me a little!! The second negative I found is that it is narrower than most smartphones on the market, which takes a few days to get used to, and along with the curved screen, it makes it appear smaller! On the positive side - screen quality, construction quality, photos and videos, fast charging (in about 40 minutes), calls!!!!

As the owner of the 12X for two weeks now, I would like to share my experience so far.

Firstly, I should mention that my previous devices were the Mi 8 for two years, followed by the Poco F2 Pro for another two years. I believe this is important because the reader and potential buyer should know the basis of comparison that each of us has when evaluating.

I switched to the Poco F2 Pro without any complaints or issues and chose the 12X for its value for money.

Now let's talk about the device...
▪️The phone has an amazing display, AMAZING. Compared to my brother's iPhone 13 Pro Max, the difference is staggering, as I had it the day before yesterday.
▪️The main camera is very good, and the selfie camera is decent.
▪️The battery is flawless, but I won't go into details because it depends on each person's usage. It charges in half an hour (67W). The charger and cable are included in the package! Other brands don't include them!
▪️The sound is truly impressive. In everyday moments when I used the JBL flip 5 at home, in the bathroom, etc., the 12X took its place. It's not about the volume, but the quality that leaves you amazed.
▪️The device size is 6.28"...it took me years back. The phablets we all hold in our hands, better in the hands because they require two hands... With this, you can do everything with one hand. It fits comfortably in a pocket, etc. The size may seem strange and surprising at first, but you get used to it. And, like me, it will win you over in the end.
If I had to find a flaw, it would be the speaker during calls. Because of such a large screen, the speaker is on top and not in front of the screen. So, you have to adjust it to your ear to hear better and not let others around you hear in a quiet environment.

In terms of performance, the reliable Snapdragon 870 won't disappoint you.

Overall, I believe that at the price range of €450-500, you can blindly buy it. Instead of spending that much on a mid-range device from any brand, you get a true flagship.

P.S. The main camera is good, especially with gcam for night shots, it takes it to another level on this device.

Stay away from this mobile model!! I hope the buyer tomorrow, meaning YOU, reads this and saves their money. It's terrible in every aspect.. I had the Xiaomi 6 and after 5 years, I bought this thing.. and of course, I regret it..

Small size, excellent build quality, very good sound, strong signal, infrared port, AMOLED screen with beautiful colors, and of course what sets it apart from products of other companies is the very good battery life despite the power of the processor. The fingerprint sensor always works unlike Samsung, although personally I would prefer it on the side. The only lack is the absence of a 3.5 mm audio output for headphones, but now there are adapters everywhere for type c or type c headphones. Very fast charging and charger included in the package.

The phone is the best for someone who needs to hold a phone and not a brick, incredibly convenient in the hand and in the pocket, very good screen and decent speakers (stereo) it doesn't lag anywhere with anything I've run on it and generally it has never lagged from the battery for its size, very decent 8 hours of screen on time after 2 years of use (reasonable) generally there are other phones much stronger in terms of processor - battery - camera - screen but as I said before this one is the best if you don't want to carry a brick

I bought the mobile phone about 1 month ago, coming from Samsung s21. My experience so far:

The mobile phone is generally good, although I consider it not to be value for money (Without VAT 500€).

The battery barely lasts a day with normal use, but it is greatly saved by the 67w charger, which charges the phone from 20% to 100% in less than 40 minutes.

The photos are very mediocre for such a phone, it has the classic problem of Xiaomi with excessive brightness, which unfortunately cannot be fixed even with Gcam. I haven't dealt much with video, but overall the lens has not impressed me. This also applies to the front camera. The screen is good, but it cannot be compared to Samsung by any means.

In terms of speed, the phone is lightning fast. It doesn't lag anywhere and rarely shows any lag or freezing, which of course has nothing to do with the processor.

If you want a phone for social media, browsing, gaming, and general everyday use, I think the phone is quite good.

However, if you want it for photos, videos, etc., I do not recommend it. With the same money, you can get a Samsung that surpasses it in camera, screen, and video.

It purely depends on what you want to use the phone for.

Update: The camera is so frustratingly bad that I returned it and got the Samsung s23 ultra. With that amount of money, you expect the camera to be at least above average.

Why should someone get it:
1. The best chassis to use with one hand. Very beautiful and the most comfortable I have held in my hand in recent years. Fits in any pocket without being bothersome.
2. Very fast, no lag.
3. Very beautiful.
4. 67W charger included in the package and charges extremely fast without heating up.
5. Amazing video stabilization and no serious lag.
6. The main camera is very high quality, takes very good HDR photos.
7. Pupg 4k HDR 60fps...
8. The screen is so good that you want to open it every now and then just to look at it.
9. No throttling (sd870 cpu... the best the company has built up to the 8th gen1 for most things)

Why to avoid it:
1. The wide-angle camera is so bad in average lighting that its FHD and 4k are the same... if it doesn't have good lighting, it is so bad that it would be better if they didn't include it and sold it cheaper. Also, the images come out so blurry that I thought there was a problem. But apparently, that's how the camera of this model is. The same camera somehow manages in photos. The wide-angle lens of the Poco F3 is the best I have used.
3. The macro lens, because it doesn't have stabilization, it might be impossible to quickly capture something. If it's on a tripod, it's very good. It also focuses from 3 centimeters to 7. Still, the poco is somewhat better in this camera.
4. It should be able to shoot 10-bit video since the processor supports it.

As for the battery that many say doesn't last... We are definitely talking about people who play with their phones at work every now and then, or have so much free time that in this case, it would be better to get a laptop or a power bank!! Enough with the battery that we want to last for 20 hours straight!!! Personally, I leave home at 08:30 and when I return at 6, it's at 40%, even though I have talked on the phone, viber for half an hour, YouTube for 30 minutes, everything open (5g, BT, 120Hz, brightness), surfing the net for another 30 minutes, and a pubg match. If someone uses it more than that while at work, let me know where they work so I can send my resume!!

If it had a better wide-angle or if it had 10-bit video, I would keep it. But at this price, you can't have it all anymore. So I will look for the 12 that shoots 10-bit, as far as I know.

Apart from the negatives, it is the best someone can get if they don't care much about wide-angle and night shots on all lenses.

P.S.: I am involved in video as a side job, with blackmagic cameras, gimbals, editing, and color grading. So I pay attention to some details that most people may not realize.
