The Citronic X-PAD external sound card also functions as a microphone processor for podcasts, recordings and music demos on the go. It connects to a smartphone or laptop via USB-C and supports simultaneous recording and playback. Features include digital reverb, pitch shifting, auto-tune, preset sound effects, and memory for user-recorded effects and loops.

The three 3.5 mm microphone inputs offer 5 V or 48 V phantom power options, depending on the input. The built-in lithium-ion battery charges via USB-C, and the device can also be powered by 5 V DC, 2 A USB power.
