  • I can't understand why a cooler comparable in performance to the NH-U12A doesn't have the recognition it deserves. It's a third of the price of Noctua. Of course, side by side, the difference in build quality is evident, especially in the mounting components. However, for the cost, it's of good quality and has quiet fans. With a slight tilt of the cooling pipes towards the back, it leaves all four RAM slots free, perfect clearance. If you install it upside down, it "collides" with the first RAM slot, so be careful with the installation; the instructions don't mention this. Aluminum cooler and components, super easy to install on AM4. It cools an R9-5900X very efficiently in a second mini workstation inside a Cooler Master Q300L (known for its terrible airflow). A good purchase for €40.76.

13700K was chosen because it supports 220W management. What I didn't calculate was that the 13700K easily exceeds 220W in video processing (without overclocking), so I probably should have chosen something higher to avoid even momentary thermal throttling. Nevertheless, in normal use, the cooler is effective and silent, and definitely worth its cost.
