The inspections, and especially the re-inspections, of Greek building electrical installations is a topic that has been discussed since the 1960s. Until a few years ago, there was no clear line, no guide, on how they should be conducted.

Since 2006, with the legally mandatory ELOT HD 384 Standard, seminars have begun to be organized, inspections and re-inspections have been carried out based on the Standard, and Greek experience has started to be developed. Since May 2011, with the Ministerial Decision regarding the new Installer Responsibility Declaration (ΥΔΕ), these issues have become clearer.

This book and the accompanying CD contain essential information, practical guidelines, and experiences related to the inspections and re-inspections of building electrical installations. The aim and purpose is for all this to serve as a guide for those who wish to methodically engage in inspections and re-inspections.
