    Former mi9 owner. I just wanted an upgrade without having any issues with the 9th (it served me well).
    But let's talk about the 12x...
    The screen is excellent.
    The sound is high quality, with Dolby and all.
    The main camera is decent, just like the macro... but the ultra-wide is not good. (I admit I miss the Tele of mi9)
    I noticed a difference in video compared to mi9... it's very fair in terms of price.
    The processor never overheated compared to the induction stoves gen 1 and 888.
    The size is the best.
    Worth it in the range of 400-460.

    First of all, I will talk about its size, which is the best I have ever held. It can be easily operated with one hand. Solid construction and very high quality. Perfect screen! I also have the redmi note 10 pro, which has one of the best screens, and the 12 Pro is even better. In terms of speed, it is simply flawless and has very good battery management. I haven't been able to increase the temperature, the 870 processor is perfect. Photos are very good, as well as videos. The sound is of good quality with bass, but not too loud compared to the 10 pro. The 10 pro has louder sound but no comparison in terms of quality. Anyone considering buying it doesn't need to think twice, it is a complete device that I believe lacks nothing. Its size is a big advantage.

    Owner here for a week now coming from Huawei p40! Definitely has an excellent screen, the colors are amazing, the battery seems to easily last the day and theoretically this will improve even more in the future!
    Now, in terms of the camera, after several tests with the p40, I see that Xiaomi wins in details in photography, but it definitely loses in zoom, where the p40 is significantly better!!

    After several tests, the video seems to have its issues, I hope it will improve with an update.

    Update: The battery consistently lasts for one and a half days with a refresh rate permanently set at 120Hz! The fingerprint sensor is very responsive! Overall, so far it seems like an excellent choice, especially considering the price one can find it for... the only issue remains the video, which has the same problem as the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, so theoretically it will be fixed with an upgrade.

    Update 3/5/2023: Almost 1 year later, completely satisfied with my choice, although hesitant at first as it was my first Xiaomi device! Even now, with full usage and data open all day, the device rarely drops below 25-30%!

    Former mi9 owner. I just wanted an upgrade without having any issues with the 9th (it served me well).
    But let's talk about the 12x...
    The screen is excellent.
    The sound is high quality, with Dolby and all.
    The main camera is decent, just like the macro... but the ultra-wide is not good. (I admit I miss the Tele of mi9)
    I noticed a difference in video compared to mi9... it's very fair in terms of price.
    The processor never overheated compared to the induction stoves gen 1 and 888.
    The size is the best.
    Worth it in the range of 400-460.

    First of all, I will talk about its size, which is the best I have ever held. It can be easily operated with one hand. Solid construction and very high quality. Perfect screen! I also have the redmi note 10 pro, which has one of the best screens, and the 12 Pro is even better. In terms of speed, it is simply flawless and has very good battery management. I haven't been able to increase the temperature, the 870 processor is perfect. Photos are very good, as well as videos. The sound is of good quality with bass, but not too loud compared to the 10 pro. The 10 pro has louder sound but no comparison in terms of quality. Anyone considering buying it doesn't need to think twice, it is a complete device that I believe lacks nothing. Its size is a big advantage.

    Owner here for a week now coming from Huawei p40! Definitely has an excellent screen, the colors are amazing, the battery seems to easily last the day and theoretically this will improve even more in the future!
    Now, in terms of the camera, after several tests with the p40, I see that Xiaomi wins in details in photography, but it definitely loses in zoom, where the p40 is significantly better!!

    After several tests, the video seems to have its issues, I hope it will improve with an update.

    Update: The battery consistently lasts for one and a half days with a refresh rate permanently set at 120Hz! The fingerprint sensor is very responsive! Overall, so far it seems like an excellent choice, especially considering the price one can find it for... the only issue remains the video, which has the same problem as the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, so theoretically it will be fixed with an upgrade.

    Update 3/5/2023: Almost 1 year later, completely satisfied with my choice, although hesitant at first as it was my first Xiaomi device! Even now, with full usage and data open all day, the device rarely drops below 25-30%!
