Young Leukothea, the daughter of a poor family from a suburb of Piraeus, becomes pregnant without the acceptance of her boyfriend. So, at the urging of her parents, she flees to America to her sister to give birth, falling victim to a conspiracy by her sister and her husband, as they steal her supposed dead baby. Leukothea returns to Greece and after the death of her parents, she tries to survive on her own, facing health problems at the same time. In America, the baby grows up with his grandparents after his parents are killed in a car accident, but as he grows up, his studies bring him to Greece, where he works and gets married, which will end in divorce.
