Three operating modes with the second one being quite powerful, so I don't know if we will need the high one in the bedroom where we installed it. The motor is completely silent. The installation, because it is heavy, had a lengthy process because our ceiling was not a plasterboard but a gypsum ceiling, so extra screws were needed. Now, if someone cheaper is equally good, I can't know, so I can't comment on the value for money. Anyway, I am very satisfied.
