I don't know what materials the cheaper ones have, but for the 20+ euros that I paid, it creaked and broke in 3 days. Additionally, this particular one had 2 patches on it when I opened it, so it was probably purchased very cheaply. The only thing that lasted a bit was the support that goes under the mattress, after I patched it up, of course.
