Description

Packaging of 10ml (or 50ml, 100ml & 500ml) containing 100% edible Oregano Essential Oil. Oregano is the common name of the plant Oreganum Onites. The essential oil of oregano is derived from steam distillation of the leaves of this plant and contains the compounds carvacrol (75%) and thymol (1.5%). It has a strong characteristic aroma and is often referred to as oregano oil.

The oregano essential oil contains the compounds carvacrol and thymol which give it antimicrobial action. It is primarily used in aromatherapy to combat respiratory problems such as asthma, bronchitis, and cough. It also helps combat diabetes (2-3 drops of the essential oil in a drink made of wormwood, sleep grass, willow, hibiscus, stevia, ginger, etc. or in water).

Its strong antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiparasitic properties are well-known. If we incorporate it into a carrier oil (such as sea buckthorn, wild rose, jojoba, argan, etc.), it helps with psoriasis issues. Oregano essential oil combines very well with:

  • Thyme
  • Eucalyptus
  • Lavender
  • Pine
  • Tea tree

Greek oregano is considered one of the best in the world. It is clearly more expensive than competing products from Italy, Morocco, and Tunisia - but it is 100% Greek.

INCI-name: Oreganum Onites

Origin: Greece, Imathia region (the herb is collected from the Pieria Mountains).
