Herbstore organic spearmint essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of the Mentha spicata plant. It has a fresh, cool and slightly sweet aroma, with a camphoraceous character and notes of cumin. It is edible.

It dissolves in alcohol, vegetable oils and essential oils, while being almost insoluble in water. For use in skin care products, the recommended usage rate is up to 0.5%, while for other uses it is up to 2%. Do not apply directly to the skin or use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
