Herbstore sage essential oil is obtained by distilling the herb and its flowers and has a sweet, herbaceous aroma. It is edible as a product, but must not be ingested. It is made from sage harvested in the Pieria Mountains, in the region of Imathia.

It can be used in a burner or added to massage oil, body lotion, face creams and shampoos. For gargling and rinsing, the product description recommends 2 drops in 100 ml of water. The oil is potent and must be used with care. Consulting a doctor before use is recommended, especially during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and if taking medication.
