Herbstore organic patchouli essential oil comes from the Pogostemon cablin plant and has a woody, sweet, spicy, and exotic aroma. It is edible and used as an ingredient in cosmetics and soaps, as well as a fixative in men’s fragrances.

For external use, it should always be well diluted. It can be used in blends with bergamot, cassia, oakmoss, pine needles, geranium, lavender, mandarin, sage, myrrh, clove, neroli, rose, sandalwood, white fir, ylang-ylang, and cedarwood. It may cause sensitization in some people.
