It is effective for people with gastroesophageal reflux, unfortunately, it is very uncomfortable because it is very hard, I put a pillow on top to improve the situation a bit but nothing, it worsened my neck so I completely removed it.
Edit: Because I have a serious reflux problem, I used it again with my pillow and reluctantly got used to it a little. Definitely effective for the job it is intended for.
