Built-in 50mAh backup battery. The GPS tracker can operate for a few minutes if the vehicle's battery is disconnected and can send a disconnection alert (main disconnection alert means sending an SMS alert when the GPS tracker is disconnected from the vehicle's battery, very useful if a thief tries to disconnect the tracker and steal the vehicle).
