August 2011 in Athens. An ordinary woman is called to take on an unusual job: the direction of an institution filled with wounds, in Athens, which is going through one of the worst moments in its recent history.

It is no longer just the homeless and drug addicts who come to the yard for their meal, but also the 'newly poor': middle-class people who have lost everything, but not their dignity. Among them are Nina and Raina, children of refugees from Afghanistan. They fill the director's office with their drawings, love, and stories.
