This book concerns a pilgrimage of the author over the last fifteen years to "The Graced One," the monastery of Elder Epiphanios Theodoropoulos in Troizina.

It is hard to find a Greek Christian who does not know him as a gifted theologian with sharp insight and deep knowledge of the sacred canons of our Church, as well as an excellent spiritual guide and writer.

He was a charming man with gifts from God who adorns the Saints of our Church, like his friends, the newly revealed saints of the 20th century (Porphyrios of Kavsokalyva, Paisios of Mount Athos, Ephraim of Katounakia, Callinicus of Edessa, Philotheos Zervakos, Amfilochios of Patmos).

And this was due to his parallel mystical, ascetic life of fasting, vigil, and prayer.
