PCIe x1 Controller - RS-232

This controller allows you to add a DB9 RS232 serial port to your computer via a PCI Express (PCIe) slot. It enables interaction with serial devices such as card readers, printers, PIN pads, and modems.

The ASIX AX99100-based 16950 UART controller allows the DB9 port to transmit up to 921.6 Kbps with a 256-byte FIFO buffer and 9 bits of data.

Maximum Compatibility

With broad support for operating systems, including Windows and Linux, this PCI Express card is easy to integrate into mixed environments. The card comes pre-configured with a low-profile bracket and includes an optional full-profile bracket, making installation easy regardless of the chassis size.
