DAGONIS is a fungicide with translaminar movement and long-lasting preventive and therapeutic action. It includes the combination of two active ingredients, fluxapyroxad and difenoconazole.
Fluxapyroxad is a broad-spectrum fungicide that belongs to the chemical group of succinate dehydrogenase inhibitors (SDHI), FRAC code C2. It acts by inhibiting the enzyme succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) in the mitochondrial electron transport chain.
Difenoconazole is also a broad-spectrum fungicide, belonging to the chemical group of triazoles, FRAC code G1. It inhibits the biosynthesis process of fungal sterol, thus stopping their growth.
