AQUAGLOSS is a high-quality glossy water-soluble topcoat based on modified polyurethane resins. It is odorless, ideal for indoor use, and also suitable for outdoor surfaces. It is an ideal solution for painting metal (railings, metal constructions, etc.) and wooden (doors, frames, cabinets, windows) surfaces. It has excellent adhesion and is suitable for repainting old solvent-based varnish colors. It creates an elastic surface with high resistance to frequent washing and scrubbing, ensures a perfect finish, and maintains its brightness.

Preparation

Careful preparation is a fundamental requirement for good results. Remove all old paints, loose materials, and oils. Sand and clean the dust with a cloth.

• New wooden surfaces: Sand and clean the surface from dust. Apply filler. Apply 1-2 coats of POLACRYL 321 wood preservative. Prime with AQUAPRIMER substrate, 1-2 coats. Apply 2-3 coats of AQUAGLOSS.
• New metal surfaces: Sand and clean the surface from dust. Apply filler. Apply 1-2 coats of AQUARUST, ANTIRUST, or MARINE MINIO for better anti-corrosive protection. Apply 2-3 coats of AQUAGLOSS.
• Repainted surfaces with solvent-based colors: Lightly sand and clean the surface from dust. Prime with 1 coat of AQUAPRIMER (wood) or AQUARUST (metal) and apply 2 coats of AQUAGLOSS.

Use

• Apply with a roller, brush, or airless spray. Dilute with 5-10% water.
• Minimum application temperature 5°C.

Drying - Performance

The ambient temperature and coating thickness determine the drying time. Surface drying: 1-2 hours. Repainting time: 4-6 hours. Coverage: 9-13m2/liter, depending on the thickness of each coat and the absorbency of the surface.
