However, inside the box, the support screw mentioned in the manual, which is supposed to secure the body to the base so it doesn't come off and fall down, was missing. In the end, though, the fan's base doesn't even have a slot to screw in the screw and secure it. (So even if the screw was there.)

Watching a professional on YouTube, I learned that fans need cleaning and oiling in their internal mechanism. I opened it and, to my surprise, removed dust and hair. Now it works. I give it a 3 because the mechanism should not get dusty or allow hair to get inside.
