The volume "Preparation for ASEP - Italian language test" is a collection of materials used and tested with about sixty Italian teachers who participated in the first competition organized by ASEP for the placement of Italian LS teachers in public schools.

The volume is divided into 22 units, categorized into five themes: Work and society, School overview, Language situation, Technologies, and Environment.

The topics of the various texts were carefully selected, considering themes that are of interest to teachers and rich vocabulary, with an emphasis on the socio-cultural aspect of Italy and especially on topics related to the Italian educational system and the language situation within the European Union.

The units are independent of each other, so the order in which they are followed can be at the teacher's discretion, although a recommended gradual sequence provided by the author is advised.
