In recent decades, health issues have increasingly occupied the agenda of international governance, as states show greater interest and invest more in health in order to promote and support economic and social needs.

The COVID-19 Pandemic emerged amid a crisis characterized as a crisis of multilateralism, particularly at a time when multilateral cooperation is more necessary than ever to prevent the spread of the virus. As has been the case in every historical context in the past when changes occurred in the international system, now too, for the world to survive, there is a need for the establishment of a form of international order based on international rules, diplomacy, and multilateral cooperation mechanisms aimed at promoting the common interests of states.

This publication seeks to contribute to the global discussion regarding the Pandemic and its individual aspects. The book is divided into three sections: The first examines the evolution of the international order after the Pandemic in light of the US-China geopolitical competition, transatlantic relations, and the EU's geopolitical challenges, exploring the preconditions and circumstances for the adoption of a common and cooperative policy.

The second focuses on the impacts of the Pandemic on international organization, the international economic order, sustainable development, and human rights, emphasizing the role of international organizations. The third attempts to approach the challenges posed by COVID-19 to domestic political systems in various ways.
