Application: Protection for Oil Paintings
Composition: Damara Resin, Turpentine Oil
- Traditional final varnish
- Apply when the paint has fully dried (approximately 1 year for a standard layer of paint)
- Dries in a few hours
- May show signs of aging over time such as yellowing or cracking
- Provides a glossy finish
- Can be mixed with Damara Varnish Matt 082 to reduce the gloss level
- Can be thinned with turpentine oil
- Clean brushes with White Spirit or Turpentine Oil
- Older layers of varnish can be removed with White Spirit or Turpentine Oil
- Highly Flammable
