This is a copy of the kanex base and other brands that cost 10-20€ each. None of them (even the famous ones) last forever. Usually, they break if you don't close them properly and carry them in a bag where they can get crushed, or if you accidentally put other heavy objects on top of them. If you close it correctly (very easy to do), it can be safely transported everywhere. Generally, they are sturdy constructions. They are a complete copy of the famous stands with the same design/shape in everything except for the details in the notches that determine the angle of the phone. The back stops at the notches but does not lock like the branded ones. However, the phone does not fall even if you press it. It has soft plastic on the bottom to prevent scratching. The thickness of the slot is large enough to accommodate a phone that is inside a case. Overall, satisfied. It is useful and seems to be of good quality construction. As for the price? Super! I will buy more!
