The Kyoritsu 2056R digital clamp meter measures AC and DC current up to 1000 A and uses True RMS technology. Its NCV function detects voltage without contact. The device also measures AC and DC voltage, resistance, frequency, temperature, and capacitance.

It includes a diode test and continuity buzzer, as well as Data Hold, 10 ms Peak Hold, and MAX/MIN functions. The display features a backlight and bar graph, and temperature is measured using the 8216 sensor.
