This review is about the speargun length: 90 cm

Very powerful weapon, accurate and good for an all-around solution.
To cock it requires practice and technique, it's not easy.
BE VERY CAREFUL during cocking, the metal trigger combined with the very strong bands can easily hurt your finger! Definitely use the weapon with gloves to avoid any unpleasant incidents! If I had to mention a negative, I would say I would like an easier "locking" of the trigger onto the shaft, something that can be fixed with a small modification. For all the above reasons, I would not recommend it as a first weapon for a beginner.

Simply incredible with a small issue, I don't know how feasible it is to stretch these bands, I can barely reach the first level!

it is excellent both for beginners and for later on. its setup is strong, I changed the rubbers to 24 cm 17'5 but even the 19s it has on the first notch are powerful. I just couldn't cock it on the second notch and that's why I put the 17'5 two points closer. overall a very reliable gun and I wouldn't change it. unfortunately, I give it 4 stars because after hitting a rock I managed to bend the shaft from the flopper and the front, and I cut it by 4 points and put another flopper

This review is about the speargun length: 90 cm

Good evening, as a new owner of this weapon I have many positives and one negative to mention.

    Positive: definitely the accuracy.
It is a very sturdy construction, good shaft, perfect muzzle.
However, the bands are indeed very stiff and strong. For example, in two consecutive days, the barrel that ties the line broke, and the next day I had a rope, and although I have been fishing for three years now, I have never had the rope break before, and it frayed completely. That's all. As a new weapon, I would definitely recommend it, but from the start, use a strong dyneema line if I'm not mistaken about the name

This review is about the speargun length: 75 cm

The loading with the 19mm band is relatively difficult for a beginner but not as dramatic as some present it. Just in relation to the old spearguns, you need to load with your thumbs facing each other internally.

In general, it is a well-crafted weapon. The grip could be a bit larger, but it is not bad.

The safety is a bit cumbersome until it settles in.

Overall, it is accurate and powerful with a quality muzzle and shaft, and quite decent in the most important aspects of a speargun.

For holes (sargos), octopuses, lionfish, red mullets, etc., it is fine, and due to its power, it is not excluded to ambush in shallow waters for white fish and close distances.

It loses points in the finer details but is a good purchase.

For a more all-around better choice, the 82mm with the reverse mechanism is like a compact conventional 90mm.

I wonder if the pro series will acquire the D' Angelo ii grip that provides a bit more loading length.

For me, who started as a beginner spearfishing with a searcher in shallow waters, it worked very well. The rubbers are soft... very bad... but okay, you can change them if you want. I have no higher expectations for its price.

It is truly perfect! I got the 82cm one, it is very powerful for close shots on rocks, the size and power are amazing. For ambush and long shots, it will not let you down, always according to its length.
I've had it for 2 years and the only thing I've changed is the bands due to wear.
It can even take down a cow, from all the spearguns I have had and tried, it is the best.
If it breaks, I will buy the same one again, maybe the 90cm though for a bit longer shots

This review is about the speargun length: 50 cm

I took the initiative to write my review because I see many complaining about how difficult it is to load..
To load a spear gun, you need experience to understand how to position your body and use it as a lever to pull with more force. If you can't do it, it's not the spear gun's fault, it's yours. You can watch videos and train yourself, and soon you will succeed and even have fun.
The 19mm bands on a 26-inch gun for a beginner may be a challenging track, but not something so terrible.
I have seen a 65kg untrained person loading it easily and not changing it. So relax a bit with the bands, wear a wetsuit with a chest pad to avoid pain, or cut a flipper and put it on every time you load.

This is my first purchase of this speargun. I agree that the bands are excessively stiff. Even for loading at the first notch, it requires a lot of strength. I managed to load it, but due to the difficult loading, I make few shots. The loading heel hurts a lot without a wetsuit.
Quite a powerful and straight shot.
Update 09/22/2024 In the end, the bands are not that stiff. It just requires technique. Now, since I learned the method, it loads very easily. Also, the loading heel doesn't hurt that much after all. Without a wetsuit, it will leave a small bruise.

    My first spear gun,
    very satisfied,
at first it seems somewhat difficult to load, especially in the rear position and without something on the chest (wetsuit, pad, etc.), but after a few times I do it easily.
good grip, good trigger, I would just like a slightly more positive buoyancy
    very good price
I definitely recommend it for beginners

Very satisfied with the fishing I do. Sturdy and accurate. I have the 82 model.
The disadvantage is the buttplate, which if you don't have slippers or wear a protective suit, will scratch your chest and abs. Also, the loading mechanism requires strong arms, especially the second notch, which if not properly secured, can say goodbye to your finger. I filed down the second notch a bit to insert the spear deeper and saved myself. It also lacks a bit in long-range shooting. Okay, the length is not ideal, but targeting anything over 2, 2.5 meters is difficult, especially with faster and more elusive fish like saragos.

I have had it for over 3 years.
I have used mares, Cressi. But this one suits me incredibly well in water movement.
I have hit it a lot and it hasn't suffered anything, the mechanism is still perfect, the only thing I changed because it wasn't good was the closed head, I put an open one and I can even spearfish with it in deep waters.

Nice looking spear gun, with a harpoon-style design, but USELESS for now, as it does not come with a spear. Even more so for those who don't have strong muscles. It needs bands, which will cost extra, for the gun, and I hope it doesn't negatively affect it. Bad impression for me as a beginner. I bought the 75 model.

Very good spear gun for someone who has recently started but also for beaches with shallow waters, it is very stable and has a very good aim, the only downside is that it hurts a lot in the armament, an easy solution is to put a piece of plastic on top and tape it so that it does not come off in order to soften it, for example, I comfortably arm it with a rubber band 4cm smaller

I have been fishing with the Pathos 82pro since the first model came out with the reverse trigger mechanism. I go to the sea at least once a week. Over the years, all the color has faded, but the gun and trigger have not suffered anything... Incredibly lightweight, accurate, and it doesn't get damaged. For so many years, I only change the bands. If anything ever happens to it, I will buy the same one again. All the other guns have been left on the shelf.

Overrated for its price. The plastic handle and sole are of poor quality, as if they were made of recycled plastic. Otherwise, it is satisfactory. Accurate and powerful. Even with the sole behind the handle, the assembly on the second step is not easy with the 19mm rubber it comes with when you purchase it, compared to the 75mm one I got. The safety requires some initial work and the mechanical rope grab moves left and right, apart from up and down, meaning it shakes. Personally, I would recommend the 75mm to be set with 2 thinner rubber bands and the bell, which is of very good construction, to be 3 millimeters wider in length, it's fine.

This review is about the speargun length: 75 cm

For me, who started as a beginner spearfishing with a searcher in shallow waters, it worked very well. The rubbers are soft... very bad... but okay, you can change them if you want. I have no higher expectations for its price.

This review is about the speargun length: 90 cm

It is truly perfect! I got the 82cm one, it is very powerful for close shots on rocks, the size and power are amazing. For ambush and long shots, it will not let you down, always according to its length.
I've had it for 2 years and the only thing I've changed is the bands due to wear.
It can even take down a cow, from all the spearguns I have had and tried, it is the best.
If it breaks, I will buy the same one again, maybe the 90cm though for a bit longer shots

I can't understand some people who say they have difficulty loading it! Excellent choice at all levels, I highly recommend it!

As a beginner, I bought the Pathos Pro 75.. I highly recommend it, the gun simply can't be beat.. accurate and very powerful tool, comfortable grip and overall it has very good materials on it.. I believe it is perfectly tuned and doesn't need any modifications..

  • Very powerful weapon, accurate and good for an all-around solution.
