I fed the baby just fine for a while, (although it was overly flexible in the front because it doesn't have support from the inside like others) I washed it and let it dry upside down like we all do with our cutlery to dry, with the handle facing down. Over time, it collected food inside until I saw something black sticking out and I removed the silicone and broke it trying to clean it. The black was mold! And I was putting it near the baby's mouth! If you have it, wash it and let it dry upside down (necessarily, so that mold doesn't accumulate).
