This is a remote-controlled car in kit form (unassembled), scale 1/10, from the top company Tamiya. This kit reproduces with exceptional detail the popular Japanese off-roader Suzuki Jimny (JB23) and is based on the versatile MF-01X chassis.

Chassis Details (MF-01X)

The MF-01X chassis is the heart of this kit and is designed for "Multi-Purpose" use, both on asphalt and light dirt (flat dirt/rally).

  • Architecture: It features a compact monocoque frame with integrated gearboxes.
  • Motor Placement: The motor is positioned at the rear of the chassis.
  • Suspension: Fully independent 4-wheel suspension with double wishbones and friction dampers.
  • Tires: Includes Rally Block type tires with tread for on-road and off-road use.
  • Wheelbase: The MF-01X chassis allows adjustment of the wheelbase in 3 sizes (Short, Middle, Long). The Suzuki Jimny kit uses the Middle wheelbase of 225mm.

  • All plastic and metal parts for assembling the chassis.
  • The transparent (unpainted) Lexan body of the Suzuki Jimny.
  • One (1) Tamiya 540-brushed motor.
  • One (1) electronic speed controller (ESC), usually the Tamiya TBLE-02S model.

  • Stickers and masks for painting.
  • Detailed assembly instructions.

  • Remote Control System: A set of 2-channel (or more) remote control (transmitter & receiver).

  • Servo: One (1) standard size servo for the steering system.
