This vibrant seasoning with authentic American herbs and spices has been specially developed for making barbecue or oven-roasted pork. The paprika, onion, and chili provide the seasoning with a smoky aroma, while the dark brown sugar ensures a beautifully caramelized crust.
Instructions for use:
- Generously sprinkle the herb and spice blend over a large piece of pork meat. Preferably pork shoulder or neck (1.5-2kg).
- Let it marinate for a few hours or overnight.
- Place the meat in the oven or BBQ at a low temperature (110 ͦC).
- Close the lid and cook slowly until the meat reaches a temperature of 70 ͦC.
- Wrap the meat in aluminum foil or ideally in Pit Boss Butcher Paper and cook for a few hours until the core temperature reaches 90-93 ͦC (total cooking time 4-5 hours).
- Remove the bones from the meat and enjoy!
Storage tip: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
