The MacNair's brand was acquired by Master Blender Billy Walker and his friends when they purchased the GlenAllachie distillery in 2017. The Lum Reek Blended Malt Scotch Whisky combines Single Malt from the Highland, Islay, and Speyside, which are among the most sought-after whisky regions in Scotland. These are then blended with aged GlenAllachie, seeking the perfect balance between peat and rich, fruity character. The spirit matures in high-quality Spanish sherry casks, French oak wine barrels, and Virgin Oak for at least 10 years. Over time, the flavors marry and extract additional characteristics from the wood.
