The Shadow over Innsmouth, an introduction to the famous Cthulhu Mythos, is one of H.P. Lovecraft's best novellas and has served as the backdrop for many horror works as well as film scripts. Along with it, you will read the stories: 'The Moon Pool', where terror and Greek mythology blend in an Irish tower, 'The Hound', where the gruesome 'Necronomicon' makes its first appearance, 'The Outsider', a suffocating horror story that Lovecraft wrote for the famous magician Houdini, and finally, 'Ibid', one of the few satirical fantasy stories written by the author.
