Bostik Den Braven 1001D acrylic sealant is a one-component sealant based on acrylic resins. Once cured, it forms a plasto-elastic joint with very good adhesion to porous materials and can be painted after drying.
It is used to seal cracks in masonry, plasterboard, partitions, gaps between skirting boards, and construction joints between window frames and masonry. It accommodates joint movement of up to 12.5%. It is not recommended for areas continuously exposed to water or for application on polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon, or bituminous substrates. Painting with paints containing a high volume of solids may cause surface cracking.
