The Woolley's Wi-Fi smart wall switches use the same eWeLink cloud and eWeLink app as the Sonoff TX smart switch range, making them fully compatible with Sonoff devices. However, the Woolley's WiFi switch is more than just a simple eWeLink smart switch: it features a motion radar that detects even the slightest movement and, based on detection, can switch the light (or other electrical device) on or off and send a notification to the smartphone. It is the 1-gang version with a frameless white glass touch panel.

The sleek, frameless, white glass front features a touch switch. Thanks to the built-in WiFi chip, the eWeLink app, which operates on iOS (Apple) or Android mobile phones with internet access, allows remote control of the switch and setting of time delay. Access can be shared with family members.

It features 4 available operating modes that you can set in the eWeLink app:

  • Motion sensor off: The switch operates as a regular WiFi switch.
  • Motion detection mode: Activates when motion is detected and deactivates if no movement is detected after a set time.
  • Energy saving mode: The switch does not activate automatically. If manually activated and no motion is detected for the set time, it deactivates.
  • Notification mode: The sensor does not turn the switch on or off, only sends a notification to the eWeLink app.

The switch can be set to momentary or permanent lock mode or set to auto-off. The 2-gang and 3-gang versions can be set to lock mode, where if one cycle is deactivated, other cycles are activated.
