Under the light of the jurisprudence of the CJEU, both the Union and the national legislator have turned towards a comprehensive approach to the field of public procurement as an important chapter not only for economic development but also for promoting social and environmental policies, aiming for smart and sustainable development without exclusions.

Considering the importance of public procurement and the particular theoretical and practical interest presented by the recent changes to the relevant legislation, which were enacted through a series of laws, such as Laws 4491/2017, 4605/2019, and mainly 4782/2021, the General Directorate of Oversight of the Courts of First Instance Administrative Courts, the Administrative Court of Appeal of Tripoli, the Region of Peloponnese, the Municipality of Tripoli, and the Bar Association of Tripoli co-organized, on October 2, 2021, in Tripoli, a scientific event titled “Public Procurement – Critical issues and recent developments,” the content of which is presented in this publication.
