Description

Summer has arrived and we are getting ready for vacation! We packed our swimsuits, sunscreen, frog fins, and the book that will help us remember what we learned in first grade.

Divided into 10 weeks, just like the weeks of summer vacation, this book guides children to organize their time and practice Language and Mathematics (Monday to Friday).

It also encourages them to read excerpts from children's books (comprehension and written expression) and enjoy the suggested games with their friends or family (weekend).

An original vacation diary book that, with its playful activities, facilitates the review of school material and enhances children's critical thinking.

I am Anastasios and I want to become an astronaut. And when I grow up, and even now. Of course, my mom doesn't let me now, but I think I will succeed soon because when I tell her, she smiles and doesn't get angry. I have memorized all the planets. Not randomly, but in order. I know about comets, stars, dwarf planets… And, you won’t believe it, but I have already started speaking Pluto-ian! I also teach my friends. We meet in the neighborhood park and play while speaking Pluto-ian. – Antoui ba dix? I shout, which means "Are we ready?". – Antoui! they reply, raising their thumbs high. Only one thumb. And we raise both when our families call us and we have to leave. We call this "Fela du". It’s very easy to communicate in Pluto-ian, especially if we look into each other's eyes. And even if we don’t know the words – if we look into each other's eyes, we understand everything.

  • Paper quality
  • Was it interesting enough?
  • I would choose a book by the same author
  • I would recommend it for purchase
  • It has a few exercises each day for children who don't like sitting and writing for a long time. I liked that it had exercises with 3 or 4 examples for the child to solve. Just enough to see if they remember them. Satisfactory level of difficulty with all the school material. Each day, they did one page alternating between language and math, and on the weekend there was a small essay or reading comprehension. Excellent book for the holidays, as a teacher I highly recommend it.

  • Many written exercises, repetition without a playful approach, accumulated material without significant motivation, the negatives.
It contains almost all chapters for revision.

  • It's good but it requires a lot of writing and it's not as engaging for the child compared to other books. Of course, it also depends on what the child wants. It shouldn't tire them but entertain them. On the other hand, it has very nice colors compared to others and additionally my review concerns a child who wants to do everything at once and not day by day
