    Overall, quite satisfactory. However, it has frozen on me 1 or 2 times. Also, a negative is the formats it supports on USB (video files). I’m tired of converting to supported formats so it can read them, both for audio and video. That is, in a video it may not support either the audio or the video encoder. I have no issue with mp3s. If someone has an issue, .mkv H264 with mp3 audio is tested and works.

    Also, when selecting USB, it may start playing whatever video it finds by itself. Instead of just reading the files (as it almost always does), it starts playing some video.

    No problem with sound, mic, Bluetooth, and connection.

    Update almost 2 years later:

    It freezes a lot in general. It may freeze once a week up to 2 or 3 times a day. It freezes and restarts by itself. It started from the beginning but now the freezing is standard. A simple search shows others have similar problems. And of course, it doesn’t get updates. Good sound, microphone, etc., but what’s the point if it has so many issues. It’s a shame because Pioneer is a big name

    Flawless wireless Android Auto and immediate. Very satisfied, I was tired of the previous Chinese device I had with installed maps (slow, difficult to use). Pioneer guarantees quality and sound. Pay attention!! You will need an adapter (around 100 euros) for the steering wheel controls (included in Chinese systems although they usually do not cover canbus) and also keep in mind that it is smaller in size than the corresponding Chinese ones. So, even though I had the 2din front panel ready in the Yaris (2008), I needed additional work to hide the minimal gap it left around. Also, I didn't like that it opens with the car's ignition. You close it, as soon as you start the car again, it opens. I was told that all the famous brands work like that. I don't regret it, I thought I had a speaker problem and it turned out that the Chinese one was just garbage.
