I was misled by the good reviews and decided to buy it instead of a similar one from another brand that I had previously, at a much lower cost, at 1/3 of its price. Sorry if I seem aggressive, but IT DOES NOT keep the water cold from morning until the evening of the next day (?!?!) as I read, nor does it keep it hot for 24 hours as I also read, nor will your throat hurt after drinking for 8 hours; I honestly wonder why such reviews are written.
Because I read the above, I proceeded to a test measuring the temperature of the liquid for 12 hours, in 3 measurements every 6 hours, at room temperature, using the kitchen thermometer Thermo Pro, keeping the thermos stationary on my desk and hermetically sealed to avoid thermal loss.
Cold water
At 8 in the morning: 0.4 degrees Celsius
At 2 in the afternoon: 10.8 degrees Celsius
At 8 in the evening: 19.2 degrees Celsius.
Hot water
At 9 in the morning: 99.6 degrees Celsius
At 3 in the afternoon: 58.3 degrees Celsius
At 9 in the evening: 42.1 degrees Celsius
The average temperature of the tap water was about 27 degrees Celsius.
After the above, my personal opinion is that it does not justify its high price; there are thermoses of the same performance at a much lower price, with the same features; it is simply a mediocre thermos at a high price. It proved to be better for hot liquids, mediocre for cold ones. It’s not trash, but it’s not what is presented in the reviews either; I will not buy it again in the future, it offers nothing more than the Nava for €8.
P.S.: The blue is actually teal; the one I received was completely painted and not with the Inox cap as shown in the third photo. Also, it has a small opening; ice cubes from the common ice trays do not fit, but it is convenient to drink from the bottle.
