The InLine 76696C controller card adds two SATA 6 Gb/s ports via a PCI Express 2.0 x1 interface. It is based on the ASMedia ASM1061R and is compatible with the PCI Express Base 2.0 and SATA AHCI 1.3 standards. It supports SATA III, SATA II and SATA, as well as SSDs, with transfer rates of 6 Gb/s, 3 Gb/s and 1.5 Gb/s.

It supports NCQ and port multiplier in Windows, and includes built-in Windows drivers. Optionally, it supports RAID 0, RAID 1 or SPAN, as well as automatic rebuilding. The package includes the controller card, two SATA 6 Gb/s cables, a manual and a low-profile bracket.
