The book is based on data obtained from postdoctoral research conducted during the period of 2020-21 under the supervision of Ms. Kambaki-Voyioukli, a professor of linguistics at the Department of Educational Sciences of the DUTH.

It addresses issues related to the exploration of the role and significance of integrating texts and testimonies/audio documents - and material in general - in a dialectical and idiomatic discourse into the teaching of History. The main goal was to investigate whether and to what extent this integration could serve the primary teaching objectives of the history curriculum in middle and high schools.

Subsequently, material - both oral and written - in dialectical and idiomatic discourse is presented and recommended, which can be utilized in the teaching of Greek History.
