This book compiles the presentations given during the Conference in Athens titled “Copyright and the Digital Agenda for Europe: Current Regulations and Challenges for the Future,” which took place on June 6, 2014, at the Megaron Athens Concert Hall. The conference was held during Greece's Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

A number of prominent speakers were invited to present their views from the academic community, industry, rights holders, stakeholder groups representing various interests, and officials from the EU and WIPO. The book essentially contains the proceedings of the presentations as delivered during the event. However, some speakers chose to submit articles for a more comprehensive presentation of their perspectives. Therefore, this edition includes both proceedings and articles, depending on the speakers' preferences.
