This volume publishes the proceedings of the 41st Panhellenic Conference organized by the Hellenic Association of Civil Procedure Law in collaboration with the Syros Bar Association, held from September 8-11, 2016.

The main theme of the conference was "Garnishment in the hands of a third party," featuring presentations on the Conditions for Imposing Garnishment in the Hands of a Third Party (Georgios Orfanidis, Professor of Civil Procedure at the University of Athens), the Consequences of Forced Garnishment in the Hands of a Third Party (Panagiotis H. Kolotouris, Associate Professor at Democritus University of Thrace), and Regulation (EU) No 655/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of May 15, 2014, concerning the European Account Preservation Order Procedure to Facilitate Cross-Border Debt Recovery in Civil and Commercial Matters (Lida-Maria Pipsou, Professor at the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki).

The publication is enriched with interesting contributions on each thematic area.
