An amazing, CE Level 2-certified racing glove. Review after 2 trackdays, one crash and 2 rides on the road for break-in.

The glove is amazing. The value-for-money ratio is truly unbeatable. The gloves offer you incredible feedback and tactility in racing conditions, which for me really put them next to gloves from AStars, Held, and Dainese costing 300+ euros.

The protection it offers is obviously worthy for use on the track. Beyond the certification (which, for reasons I don't understand, is not mentioned in the product information on Skroutz), the gloves have some extras that you usually only find on expensive, high-end gloves.

I crashed on the track at 100-120 km/h and didn’t have a scratch or bruise on my hands. Apart from the superficial damage visible in the photos, the glove neither opened nor did the leather tear, and it’s ready for the next trackday.

This particular company is one of the few that offers 3 different gloves with CE level 2 certification. So I think it’s safe to say that in terms of safety, they know what they’re doing.

In terms of appearance, the gloves are beautiful. Honestly, it’s the first time I’ve seen a white racing, CE Level-2 glove.

IMPORTANT: The fitment is true-to-size. In fact, I suggest if you’re between two sizes, go for the smaller one as Garibaldi’s sizing is particularly loose. I had to change from L to M even though all my gloves are L.

Finally, for those reading this review who haven’t tried high-quality, racing gloves, I have to say that the quality, response, and comfort they offer on the bike simply can’t be compared to cheap 30-40 euro gloves or mid-range 70-80 euro ones.

However, let me remind you that despite the incredible comfort, fit, and feedback it gives, it is a racing glove. It’s big, takes up space, and is made to protect you and give you maximum performance in the extreme conditions of the track rather than comfort for everyday city use. Even though it’s “summer,” obviously the airflow and comfort can’t be compared to a classic sporty/touring glove. Personally, I got it for exclusive use on the track or long rides in the mountains where I don’t have such requirements and I am completely satisfied.

If I had to recommend something more casual and everyday to the reader but with the same level of protection, I’d suggest the Garibaldi Nexus Pro.

Update: 2 years after this review, I crashed again on the track with these gloves and once again my hands were unharmed.
