Unlike the previous edition, which covered topics from both individual and collective employment relations, this edition contains topics exclusively from the field of individual employment relationships. In a short – we hope – time frame, "Applications of Labor Law" covering collective employment relations will also be published.

The aim of this edition is to connect theory with legal practice and to familiarize readers with addressing and resolving complex labor law issues. Most topics include extensive theoretical analyses, which will help students as well as anyone involved in the practical application of labor law to understand and resolve the issues they face. After all, without knowledge of theory, it is not possible to successfully handle practical issues.

When referring to "Labor Law" and "Collective Labor Law," the latest editions are understood to be the 4th edition of Individual Employment Relations (2019) and the 3rd edition of Collective Employment Relations (2019), respectively.
