This volume publishes the proceedings of the 42nd Panhellenic Conference organized by the Greek Association of Civil Procedure Lawyers in collaboration with the Bar Association of Karditsa on September 7-10, 2017.

The general theme of the conference was "The New Procedural Procedure" with presentations on the assertion of claims (Nikolaos Klamaris, Professor at the University of Athens and President of the Greek Association of Civil Procedure Lawyers), the proof of claims (Ioannis Mantzouranis, Legal Councilor of Athens), and issues of substantive law (Sophia Fourlaris, President of the Court of First Instance of Athens).

The publication is enriched with interesting interventions on each topic.
