It does not clean the nose. In terms of cleaning, it does the same job as plain water. IT DOES NOT REMOVE SECRETIONS. NO DECONGESTION. Unfortunately, nature does not cure everything.

I bought it as we were two people at home with a heavy cold (possibly even sinusitis, I don't know). It literally saved us. We did 4 sprays throughout the day, 2 in each nostril with the head tilted at a 45-90 degree angle to ensure that the solution reaches where it should.

I use it more for cleaning my nose from dust, etc., and there I can say it does something. It does not moisturize my nose at all, and after prolonged use, I can say that it actually dries it out.
