I feel a great obligation to Father Arsenios, both for the name he gave me along with his holy blessings at the baptismal font, and later, as a child, when I was nourished by his few books, preserved by the elder Prodromos Kortsinoglou (of Hatzitsin). 

The most important book for me was Prodromos himself, who was the living book of Father Arsenios, as he preserved in his clear memory the entire holy life of the Father. This elder had the great blessing—as his chanter and follower everywhere—to know many things, because, apart from what he saw, he also heard many things during their discussions, from what the Father recounted to him, various incidents from his life.
