I will give it 5 stars only because I have been using Asics myself for many years and they are possibly the best shoes for walking or running. However, these particular ones have a very narrow fit. For a child whose size is 31 and still quite big even with double insoles (in various other brands, not Asics), the Asics Noosa in size 30 were so tight on the sides that they couldn't bear them for a minute, so even if they were to stretch, there would still be a problem. The moral lesson is that you need at least 1 to 1.5 sizes larger than your usual size.
