The Advance Acoustic X-P700 preamplifier is a stereo model featuring a dual-mono design and Direct Path processing. It lets you choose between Class A and Discrete Mode output circuits, and includes controls for input selection, volume, bass and treble, and balance. The remote control lets you operate these functions from a distance.
Analogue and digital inputs include an MM/MC phono input and a USB-B input with Xmos, while the DAC is a Burr Brown PCM 1796, 24-bit/192 kHz. Outputs include RCA, balanced XLR, high-pass and two subwoofer connectors. For headphones, there are two front-panel jacks, 6.35 mm and 3.5 mm, as well as an independent dual jack with adjustable gain and output impedance.
