Description & Specifications

The Anthesis NeemAzal T/S insecticide acts by contact and ingestion and also has systemic activity. Its active ingredient, azadirachtin A, is derived from an extract of Neem seeds and acts as a growth regulator, interfering with insect development during immature stages and with ecdysone synthesis. It also has antifeedant and repellent properties.

It is used to control whiteflies, aphids and thrips on apple, pear and peach trees, aubergines, cucumbers, potatoes and ornamentals. Apply as a foliar spray during cool, shaded hours when there is no wind. The application rate is 200–300 cc per stremma, depending on the level of infestation. For ornamentals, a small-scale trial application is recommended to check for phytotoxicity; the product is not phytotoxic when applied according to the label instructions.
