The decision of Franco Fracassi to write this book was born from the realization of how little we know about fascism and Nazism, as well as the insufficient collective awareness that these ideals are still among us and that the organization ODESSA (the Black International) is unknown to most people. It is also a widespread view that these are matters of the last century, while facts indicate that the issue is more relevant than ever.

The Fourth Reich is the narrative of a seventy-six-year story that reveals how the Nazis and fascists, thanks to the help of the U.S. intelligence services and the major financial institutions on Wall Street, emerged unscathed from World War II, managed to reorganize, and left their mark on the darkest affairs that characterized the post-war period. Up to today, up to the coup in Ukraine, the attempted revolution in Belarus, the European governments of Hungary and Poland, and the imposition of neoliberalism (the great ally of ODESSA) as the sole global way of thinking.
